Match No 2: Rustic Jiggie Vs Hatisr Himalayan Club

The second match was played between Rustic Jiggie and Hatisar Himalayan Club. The one of the most interesting and tough match of the tournament. Both the team were equal good with both tactic and play, all the players from both teams has the even a equal speed and play.

The team from Assam, India HHC had a full control over the ball for all first half. On the 9th minutes of the game, Sameswar Boro has given the lead to his team, and on the 11th minutes of the game Panachay Urang, Jersey No 14 had doubled the lead for their team HHC. But on the 25th minutes of the game, Rustic Jiggie came back with an goal from Tshering Tobgay, Jr No 7. First half ended with 01-02 for HHC.

On the second half of the game, on the 67th minutes Lobzang, Jr. No 18 had equalized for Rustic Juggie.

The game ended with draw at the end of the final whistle from the referee.

Match No 1: Gelephu Youth Center Vs Losal Gaytsho Academy

Gelephu, Gyalsey Cup was started from 25th of April 2018. The opening match was played between Gelephu Youth Center Vs Losal Gaytsho Academy. The game positioning was dominated by Losal Gaytsho Academy.

On the 18 minutes of the game, LGA Jersery No 12, Tshering Cheda scored a first goal of the tournament and for his team. On 30 minutes, Kinley Yeshi of LGA double their lead.

On the second half of the game, Gelephu Youth Center, pressured LGA from 6oth minutes and they got a goal for the team on 65th minutes from Tshewang Tashi, Jersey No. 11.

The game ended 01 for Gelephu Youth Center and 02 for LGA.

The Gyalsey Cup, 3rd Season 2018, has 17 team participation's and tournament will start from 25th of April 2018 and will ends on 3rd of June 2018.

The opening match will be played between Gelephu Youth Center Vs Losal Gaytsho Academy at 16:00hrs at Gelephu Public Ground.

As per the Football Secretary, Gaymbo Gyeltshen, this tournament will make and taste of INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT for all the players and spectators. As there are lots of development in this tournament.

Gyalsey Cup 3rd Season: Meeting and Fixture

The manager and Team Captains meeting was held on 15th of April 2018. On the day the final registration was closed for the tournament at 4:00PM.

The meeting was headed by the General Secretary, of SGSA, Football Secretary of SGSA and Refereed, HoD.  

Total of 17 teams were registered for the 3rd Season of Gyalsey Cup, 2018. The Terms of References (ToR) were discussed with the team manager and captains.

During the meeting the pools were allocated and the fixture were drawn. The tournament will have total of 35 Matches.

The opening game will be played between Gelephu Youth Center and Losal Gaytsho Academy from Pool A on the 25th of April 2018.

Gyalsey Cup Update

This is to inform all that, the Gyalsey Cup season 3 which was scheduled to kick of from 15th of April 2018 had now been postponed to 25th of April 2018.

During the Executive Meeting of the Sarpang-Gelephu Sport Association (SGSA), the decision had been made day before yesterday. The tournament had been postponed because the NC election falls on the 20th of April, and most of the team members and other officials are engaged for the NC Election duty. so therefore the SGSA has decided to postponed to the above mentioned date.

The team manager/captains meeting will be held on the 15th of April 2016, as per the information heard from the reliable sources. hereby, we would like to inform all the football lovers to please note the point and follow up with us for further information.
